It's official: I'm a centrist

You are a

Social Moderate
(55% permissive)

and an...

Economic Liberal
(38% permissive)

You are best described as a:

Centrist

You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness.

The test didn't pick up on the fact that it would be more accurate to describe me as an economic illiterate than an economic liberal. But at least it got the "centrist" part right.

I would love to take the test, but when I clicked on "this test" I got a page that said "this page cannot be found."

I'm an economic and social conservative (but moderately so). In other words, wildly outnumbered in the "youth" demographic!

I am a ...

Social Liberal
(60% permissive)

and an...

Economic Conservative
(63% permissive)

I am actually surprised by how Socially liberal I was deemed, I even answered yes on school prayer!!! I am a businessman, the economic conservative part was not surprising. Anyway if you average out the numbers, square in the middle I am.

I really do feel I am a fair barometer for the temperament of the electorate and I did vote for Bush and a Republican for the first time... Democrats beware.

I was almost a Boy Scout as a child . LOL Seriously I am somewhere near the middle (politically) now.

I got "Capitalist", which I guess is libertarians who support the police in that lexicon. The interesting thing for me was the alternate graphic showing Bush and Kerry voters distributed on their spectrum. I landed near the border.

Hello neo:

I enjoy your thoughtful essays. According to the test, I'm a Libertarian, scoring with as a Social Liberal (63% permissive) and as an Economic Conservative (75% permissive). That’s really not a surprise to me since I have always felt that I have the greatest influence in whether I’m successful or not. I read your essay regarding your knowledge (or lack) of economics. I’m surprised to read that you struggled with those courses in college. I’m sure you would grasp the concepts much more readily today.

Yes, I came out a centrist also, Social moderate and economic conservative. Must have really surprised my liberal readers who apparently think anyone who registers as a Republican is at least a fascist.

I love these kinds of tests, don't know why. I ended up being a "capitalist", socially moderate, economically conservative. Interesting that I consider myself to be a neo-con, like neo-neo, we are both socially moderate, but I am economically conservative and she is economically liberal.
